A Walk to Remember lays down his signature that you will find in almost all of his books. Foremostly, the book is narrated via long monologues and there is a scarcity of actual dialogues, which is not a problem here because it is a very quick read. I Remember Beirut Zeina Abirached. Buy this book As with Abirached’s debut, A Game for Swallows, this b&w graphic memoir of growing up in Lebanon during that country’s civil war invites. I remember reading a book about the character who was at a camp and was caught underwater and was about to drown, but then learned her/his ability was to be able to breathe underwater and i can’t remember anything else! This was from awhile when i was younger and I used to read books like Percy Jackson, CHERUB, Maze Runner, Alex Rider, etc!
